Terms and Conditions

1. Rates

All rates published are quoted in Canadian Dollars. Rates are subject to change without notice. Rates are based on one-way travel. There is no special rate on a round trip. Rates include all applicable tax. Driver gratuities are not included and are left to your discretion.

 

2. Privacy Policy

Our goal is to develop long-lasting relationships based on trust. We will do the best in our ability to ensure that your right to privacy is protected. Our policy is to keep personal information we obtain from you completely confidential. J&L Shuttle respects your privacy. We will not share your personal information with any other parties. The information you provide to us is collected only for the purpose of providing you with better service. When you book with J&L Shuttle, we ask for your name, address and a phone number (or email address). This enables us to secure your reservation and notify you of the status of the reservation.

 

3. Payments and Cancellation Policy.

All payments must be made prior to the date of travel. Payment has to be made by e-transfer to jandlshuttle@hotmail.com, debit/credit online or over the phone, or cash at our office. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made less than 24 hr before departure, will be charged 100 % of the total amount. Cancellations made less than 48 hr before departure, will be charged 10 $. No Show Policy: No Show reservation will be charged 100 % from the total reservation amount. 

 

4. Acceptance  

 J&L Shuttle has the right to refuse or terminate transportation immediately in the event of improper, aggressive or abusive behavior. No smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages on our vehicles. Intoxicated passengers will also be refused.

Pets (cats and small dogs in kennels) may or may not be accepted. Check with our office.

Unaccompanied children under 16 years old must be met at the destination location by an adult identified to J&L Shuttle Service by the child’s guardian. Passengers traveling with small children are required to have their own government approved child safety seat suitable for the age and weight of a child.

Our vehicles and staff are not equipped to handle severely disabled persons, which may need a wheel chair lift. Persons with wheel chair who can sit on the bus seat will have their wheel chair placed in the luggage compartment at the rear of the bus.

Passengers are allowed 2 suitcases and a carry-on bag per person without charge. Passengers who intend for extra baggage must advise J&L Shuttle Service office at the time of reservation. Additional charges will apply. J&L Shuttle will accept passengers with extra baggage of a reasonable quantity and size; however, space may be subject to availability. J&L Shuttle reserves the right to refuse such passengers if space is unavailable and the office was not advised at the time of reservation. 

5. Limited Liability

 Passengers are responsible for verifying that their luggage is loaded/unloaded by the bus driver. J&L Shuttle Service assumes no liability for lost or damaged baggage, or any misplaced items of a personal nature.

It is a passenger’s responsibility to allow sufficient time for transfers to the airport. At least 2 hours on domestic flights and 3 hours on international flights prior to departure time.

If a flight is delayed, please contact our office to inform us with the new arrival time. If delayed inside the airport terminal due to luggage or Customs issues, it’s a passenger’s responsibility to contact our office to ensure that we will continue waiting. We will wait up to 30 minutes after the scheduled pick up time if advised of such delay.

J&L Shuttle Service will not be liable for any delays caused by traffics, accident, poor road conditions, breakdowns, other passengers’ actions, or any circumstances beyond our control. Any expenses incurred as a result of the delays including missed flights, alternative transportation, hotel, food or any other additional expenses are the passenger’s responsibility.

6. Membership Cards

Membership cards can be acquired from our drivers upon request. It can only be used by the person named on the card. ID verification will be required if the name on the card does not match the name of the booked person. The cards are not transferable to persons outside the cardholder. On the day you receive your sixth stamp, you have to submit the card to the driver and your next ride will be FREE. You can not use the "free ride" on the day of the card submission. It is the passenger's responsibility to request the stamp for a trip. Trips taken prior to acquiring the card or missed stamps requested for a trip will not be covered or tracked.
